Brunch special of Cinnamon Roll French Toast with a side of Hickory Nut Gap Sausage

west-end-bakery-cookiesThe West End Bakery will be serving brunch from 7:30-4PM including biscuits, a variety of pastries soups, salads, and sandwiches, and featuring a Shop West Asheville Special – Cinnamon Roll French Toast with a side of Hickory Nut Gap Sausage. Beginning at 5 Pm we will be hosting the Slow Food Event “There’s No Place like Hive” an evening of art work, food and drink celebrating the important role of bees in the production of our food.  Worldwide bee populations have been disappearing due to an unknown cause referred to as Colony Collapse Disorder. Featured artists Nora Hartlaub and Stacy Mac Donagh will donate 25% of proceeds from art sales  and the West End Bakery will donate a portion of its cafe sales from that day to research efforts into protecting and increasing bee populations.

When Cathy and Krista hatched the idea for their business back in 1999, they were inspired by the growing vibrant neighborhoods of West Asheville and the need for community-oriented walkable businesses. They both share a passion for healthy eating and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere where families and neighbors can relax. At the West End Bakery and Cafe, we use 100% organic flour and the freshest ingredients available. Everything served at the West End is made from scratch, and whenever possible we use locally grown produce and organic products. Come for breakfast and stay for lunch!

West End Bakery will be donating a $25 gift card to the gift basket raffle.
