Shop West Asheville is a joint effort between West Asheville Businesses and the West Asheville Business Association (WABA) and brought to you by 98.1 The River.

WABA produces and sponsors events throughout the year in addition to hosting regular programs that are of interest to business owners and residents of West Asheville. For more information about WABA please visit them at www.west-asheville.com.

On December 12th, from 12 noon to 8 pm West Asheville will be celebrating the holiday season. There will be music, specials, sales, giveaways and all sorts of fun so mark your calendar and come celebrate in West Asheville. We will be updating often so check back here to see what your favorite West Asheville businesses are doing  that day.

Some of the things that will be going on:

• Sales at West Asheville shops
• Specials at West Asheville restaurants
• Demonstrations at West Asheville businesses
• A full lineup of Musicians and Carolers at several West Asheville locations
• Artists Market with local West Asheville artisans and craftspeople
• Giveaway of gift baskets containing products and services from your favorite West Asheville businesses
• Santa will be around during the day so look out for him
